Saturday, October 15th, 2011Back from Chicago’s Black Cloud Gallery and the Beginnings exhibition opening with my flag photo (thanks all, wonderful time) and I find a packet in the mail of The Sun Magazine copies (thanks Sun!) with a photo of mine inside. Sent it a couple years ago, a familiar sight in Santa Monica for anyone who has spent months of their life there. November 2011 issue, page 28.
RangeFound® Now Protected Under Madrid Protocol
Sunday, October 2nd, 2011Good news: the RangeFound® name for online journals, sites, blogs featuring rangefinder camera photography and general photography is now protected via International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) under Madrid Agreement and Protocol (Reg. No. 1 089 240). The registered U.S. Trademark status (Reg. No. 3,893,811) remains as well.
Classroom Flag at Black Cloud Gallery, Chicago

Waiting On The 9…Almost Over
Friday, April 2nd, 2010The M9 is backordered – although ordered – and the 35mm is still at Leica NJ for calibration and restoration (since January). If anyone is interested, the M8 (with new M8.2 shutter and corrected framelines) may soon be on ebay.
UPDATE: the M9 arrived but like so many things in life that have to be done at least 2 times before it can be right), it went back with a sensor/processor error and should be back next week. 35mm lens back and now wonderfully accurate. A difference of night & day.
