Merry Christmas, heading into 2012, a year I never thought would come. Meanwhile downtown Detroit, a streetside window on Woodward sends it’s bright light holiday chill into the air. Plenty of seats left for singing, souping and lecturing.

Good news: the RangeFound® name for online journals, sites, blogs featuring rangefinder camera photography and general photography is now protected via International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) under Madrid Agreement and Protocol (Reg. No. 1 089 240). The registered U.S. Trademark status (Reg. No. 3,893,811) remains as well.

My old Eastside elementary school in Niles, Michigan is returning to life. Recently closed by a questionable school board decision it is now reopening as a magnet institution.
